Are You Confused By All The Different Transformation Modalities Available? How Do You Know Which One Is Right For You?
Back 30 years ago, I don’t think there were as many methods of transforming one’s life, one’s reality, as there are now. The number of techniques keeps growing. They seem to be growing exponentially, just as the interest in the transformational arts is.
Isn’t that great? Well, yes and no, depending on the point of view right, as with all things.
One good thing about the increasing number of modalities available is that, there are more and more like-minded people like you, like me. Which means you’re not alone in taking a less familiar path to inner freedom.
Another good news with the wide array of transformational modalities is that there’s bound to be something that’s going to resonate with you.
But how do you choose what’s right for you? What does it mean by “resonate with you” anyway? What if there’re just simply too many good ones out there and you can hardly catch up, and you find yourself overwhelmed and confused?
Well isn’t that a wonderful little challenge?
By “resonate,” it means it feels right for you. What does it mean to feel right for you? One way to discern for yourself, is simply to feel the lightness, versus the density, when you think about it.
Let’s follow along here.
First, let’s get a baseline for what it means to feel light for you. So, think of something that you know makes you feel profoundly good consistently. For many people, it feels good whenever they think of looking up at blue skies. Another example - think of walking freely in a large open meadow. Sense the feeling? It feels good, it feels light doesn’t it?
Now, think of one of the several possible modalities that you may want to try. Say it’s modality “A.” How does it feel compared to the baseline feeling of looking at blue skies?
If you have a basket of possibilities ranging from A to F, and you find that A, C, and E all feel light, and still feel confused (like I was in the past!), take heart knowing that you’ve at least narrowed down your choices.
From here, just decide how many you can realistically have time to for. If it’s 1, then just pick whatever feels easiest to do. Trust that the next best one will emerge at the perfect timing for you when you’re done with this one you’ve picked.
Notice the focus of this sharing here is not to say modality A is better than modality Z. Nope. I think every one of them, and every thing in life, can serve us in the highest way, no matter what it may appear to be, at first. The point of this article, is to help you choose, which modality is in your best interest to do, now. Not forever. But now - and likely, for another couple of weeks at least.
After a couple of months, you may feel curious about another modality to try. Then, use the same sense of lightness and density as your personal yardstick.
Sometimes, the answer may not be clear to you. That could be because the modality itself may be fine for you, but the person or mentor you’re wanting to learn from, may not be the best fit for you, at this time. Or vice-versa. In which case, you can “separate” out the modality from the mentor, and use this same method to test for the mentor.
One final note. At the end of the day, no matter which modality or mentor you choose, what’s equally important, if not more important, is your own commitment and consistency in practicing what you believe to be in your highest interest to do.
